BIO
My mom was a Las Vegas chorus girl and acrobatic with Liberace. My dad was a surgeon and delivered me two weeks early on his birthday. I grew up on the coastline of San Pedro, CA, as a surfer girl (we’ll discuss another time). My high school girlfriends and I would drive up to Hollywood on Fridays in my dad’s Cadillac Eldorado and dance at the Rainbow and afterwards hang out in the parking lot party. My friend’s older sister was a high fashion model in Europe. And when she came to visit we got to jet set around on yachts and stuff like that. It was exciting because she was 10 years older than us and as teens she would dress us up in her clothes. After college I was a cocktail waitress – at Carlos ‘N Charlie’s on Sunset Blvd. Upstairs in the private El Privado room Joan Rivers and the Chippendales would perform. In the day I worked as an assistant to independent film producers, then at Paramount Studios in development, and eventually as a publicist for a film composer. Somehow I squeezed in getting my paralegal certification and UCLA Extension art direction certification. Later in life I became a healer and soft-tissue manipulation provider. With a B.A. in art at Cal State Long Beach, my sculpting background (call it “cross training”) gave me the natural ability to get in deep into my clients aches and pains at my office at a SoCal studio lot — steps away from movie and tv productions. Having trained with the best acting studios in La La Land it’s exciting to work on industry pros I’ve admired by having my hands all over them (don’t cancel me).
I’m a cold laser facilitator, an Active Release Provider (ART), and a state certified massage therapist specializing in “Getting those NASTY KINKS out.” I used my massage money to help self-finance a pilot. I’m currently developing my standup.
